Chalkboards vs. Whiteboards: The Great Debate
It seems that Cal Poly is not the only institution whose campus constituents cannot agree when the topic turns to chalkboards vs. whiteboards. The Universtiy of Texas at Austin has a web page devoted to the topic.
Video in the Classroom
Video Distribution is a service MDS provides where you can request a video be shown from our Building 2 Media Resource Center. For instance, a faculty member showing a video in multiple classes can have MDS broadcast it over the cable system so they don't have to worry about taking the tape from classsroom to classroom and becoming familiar with the equipment in each room.
AVTV - Cable in the Classroom - select cable channels are broadcast to each classroom. Click on the link to view the channel lineup.
