What is Video Conferencing? Watch a quick video. Media Distribution Services (MDS) provides video conferencing facilities and support allowing for two-way, interactive "face-to-face" communication between Cal Poly and remote locations worldwide via Internet2. Video conferencing is used for sessions such as University-to-University committee meetings, job interview committees and related real-time collaboration. Video Conference Reservations: On-Line Reservation Form or Printed Reservation Form Video Conference Suite Location: Bldg. 2 Room 25B, Capacity: ~14 attendees NOTE: This room is available for video conference use only. See below.

Video Conference Suite Availiability:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5pm
(Other weekday or holiday time may be available pending support staff availability at both Cal Poly and off-campus site.)

Video Conference Suite Reservations:
Complete and submit the on-line reservation form or Print and fax to (805)756-2213 the pdf reservation form.
(Reservations must be made 5 working days in advance to confirm suite availability and allow time for connection testing.)

There is no charge for facility usage for instructionally-related activities; however, connection charges may be charged to campus departments. Unfortunately, our facilities are not available for use by the general public or other non-State groups.

Webinars, Telephone Conference Calls and other meetings
Contact Events Scheduling at 6-5550 to schedule an available room for your event. 
For outside line access, contact the ITS Service Desk at 6-7000 to obtain an authorization code to allow you to call off campus phone numbers.
Contact MDS to reserve a conference phone or laptop and projector, if needed.
